Purpose

I provide Guided Dives for several reasons. One is that the guide, an instructor, knows the dives sites like his or her back yard and is able to find things that may be missed by a diver that has not been to the site before. Another is that hiring a guide guarantees a competent buddy for the lone diver that otherwise would be buddied up with some other diver on the boat. A guide would also help the novice diver gain some confidence on his or her first ocean dives. A diver that has not been in the water in a while would also benefit from hiring a guide.

Prerequisites

1. Must be at least a qualified Open Water / Recreational Rebreather Diver or any Entry Level Diver equivalent.
2. Must be a minimum of 15 years of age with a parent or guardian authorization, or a minimum of 12 years of age for Junior Diver qualification, or a minimum or 18 years of age without guardian approval.

Price

• $175 for one (1) person, $275 for two (2) to three (3) people, $375 for four (4+) or more. (*All prices per boat trip)
• Open water charter and gas fills are not included.
• Rental equipment is not included. Please refer to equipment rental pricing.
• Required: Wetsuit, mask, fins and snorkel.
• ** Open water charter cost for the personal guide is not included in price and must be covered by the requesting party.
